Frequently Asked Questions 

We know planning an event comes with a lot of questions - and we are here to make the experience as smooth as possible! Here you will find answers to some of most common questions about hosting your event at The Cola Warehouse of Gadsden. If you don't see what you're looking for, our team is always happy to help!

What is The Cola's capacity?

  • The main hall of The Cola Warehouse of Gadsden has a maximum capacity of  400 people. The Loading Dock has a maximum capacity of 200 people. Additionally, we have ample on-site parking!

Do you offer payment plans?

  • Absolutely! We're happy to offer flexible payment plans based on how far in advance your event is booked. An initial payment is required to reserve your date, and the remaining balance can be split into 3 or more installments that work well for your needs. All final payments to be completed 3 months prior to your event date.

What is due to reserve my date?

  • Thank you for asking! To make your date official, all we need is your first payment installment (a minimum of 10% required) and a signed Venue Rental Agreement.

Are there any decor guidelines or restrictions?

  • To help keep our Venue beautiful, we ask that no decor is used that could damage the walls - this includes nails, glue, tape or anything that leaves residue. Confetti and glitter are not permitted. Real candles are welcome, but they must be fully contained in glass holders (taper candles require glass chimneys for safety).

What Vendors should I consider as I plan my event?

  • Every event is unique, so the team you put together will be too! But a few vendors to consider are: Wedding/Event Coordinator, Caterering and bar services, Rental and decor providers, DJ, live music, or entertainment, Photography/Videography, Hair + Makeup

What is The Cola's vendor policy?

  • While we are happy to provide you with recommendations, you are free to hire the professionals you want! A few things to note are: 1) Caterers and Bartenders are required to be licensed and provide the venue with a liability insurance certificate. 2) Vendors are responsible for the setup/teardown of the service you hire them to provide.

What is the damage deposit?

  • A refundable security deposit of $500 is required to cover any potential damages or overtime fees (which we never anticipate!). If the deposit is paid by check, it will be returned uncashed, provided no damages occur. If a credit card is placed on file, it will not be charged unless damages occur. You will be notified before any needed action takes place.

Do you require a certificate of insurance (COI)?

  • Thank you for asking! We absolutely do, and this provides you with peace of mind! While you likely already have exactly what you need through your current provider, you can also purchase event insurance online through EventHelper, WedSafe, WedSure, KandKInsurance, and RVNuccio.

Do you have audio and visual capabilities?

  • The Cola offers a modern, state-of-the-art audiovisual system ideal for corporate meetings, presentations, and special events. Speakers are integrated throughout the space, along with a large, 15 ft. projection screen and four TVs - making it simple to share presentations, videos, or custom content. The possibilities are endless!

Do you rent linens?

  • Yes, we have white, floor-length tablecloths available for our round tables and black tablecloths available for our rectangular and cocktail tables. Rental/Cleaning Fee is $12 per cloth.

May I use the venue for my Engagement or Bridal photos?

  • Absolutely! The Cola makes a perfect backdrop for photos - especially our hand-painted logo murals. Just schedule an appointment with Brandy at brandy@colawarehouse.com

Do you require event security?

  • This depends on your event and if alcohol is served. If security is needed, we have contacts available for you.
